When sourcing, I often look for vintage brooches with this shape; the lines create such elegance.  This particular reworked piece has detail in the shape & cut of the stones, of which are clear and sparkle beautifully.  A fabulous piece of vintage costume jewellery, which we' ve hung from our contrasting 22ct gold plated chain to give it a modern kick. We've also created a length of chain at the clasp from which hangs a 9mm Freshwater Pearl to give further elegance & detail to this beautiful necklace.   Don't save it for tailored wear, dress it down with jeans & tees.

Care For Gold Plate & Gold Filled Jewellery ❤️
Normal wear will make the gold fade; longevitiy of the plating will depend on how it is looked after, skin PH levels & frequency of wear.  Treat it as a precious piece and it will last.  To help maintain the plating, keep in an airtight container or a lined jewellery box, do not wear perfume or creams in the same area that you wear your jewellery.  Remove before exercise, swimming, sleeping & avoid humidity.  After wear, clean gently with a soft lint free or microfiber cloth.
